Dr. Madhura Kishor Ambekar is a dedicated and highly qualified Medical Oncologist with over a decade of academic and clinical experience. She holds an MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur, an MD in Internal Medicine from BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai, and a DrNB in Medical Oncology from P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & MRC, Mumbai. Dr. Ambekar has a strong academic background and has contributed to oncology and internal medicine education through five years of certified teaching in internal medicine and three years in oncology and hematology. She has actively guided undergraduate and postgraduate students through bedside clinics. Her research includes impactful theses on chemotherapy-induced alopecia and HIV-TB co-infection and she has presented at numerous state, national, and international conferences. She has also published research in reputed journals, notably a study on the efficacy of a dexamethasone-sparing anti-emetic regimen for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
